TULSA, Okla., March 13, 2018 – ScoutGroup, developer of the industry-advancing Scout oilfield and production data management solution, announces that a recently formed oil and gas company has selected Scout as its exclusive field data capture (FDC) and production reporting solution.

The new Scout customer is a Dallas-based oil and natural gas exploration company. Founded less than two years ago, the privately held operator is primarily focused on developing conventional and unconventional reserves in the Eagle Ford play in South Texas.

The company will use Scout’s IOS application to streamline field operation processes and eliminate the need for repetitive manual data entry between pumpers in the field and business analysts in the office. Scout’s quality control features, coupled with its pre-built integrations to commercial oil and gas applications, will enable the rapid transmission of production data from the wellhead to corporate departments for faster decision making.
